ABOUT MYSELF
Hi my name is Emily Skinner! I started selling my art in August 2020 since I had a lot of free time when my first year of University was cut short due to COVID-19. I started by selling oil painting commissions and I now also create hand-painted acrylic coasters.
I paint a range of commissions as both oil paintings and the handmade coasters, most of these being pet portraits (including my own three cats!). But I am always open for new commission ideas and I enjoy getting to paint something new.

I have just finished a BSc biology degree and am now doing a masters! I am particularly interested in ecology/conservation and animal behaviour, and these interests have definitely influenced what I like to paint/photograph, as you can see by the many animal and flower coasters I've painted!

Each coaster has an original acrylic painting on it which is hand-painted by me. Coasters are made to order, based on your own photos. All coasters are painted directly onto ceramic tiles which are then sealed by a thin layer of epoxy resin. This resin layer protects the original painting and makes the coasters waterproof and therefore easy to wipe clean.
Coasters can either be painted onto a black or white background and will have a corresponding colour painted onto the back. There are four fabric pads on the backs of the coasters to prevent any scratching of furniture when they are used. The coasters are approximately 10cm x 10cm x 0.5cm.

1 coaster - £20
2 coasters - £30
3 coasters - £40
4 coasters - £50

First class UK postage is an additional £4
COASTER VOUCHERS
There is also the option to buy a coaster voucher. The voucher is for one free coaster and this includes the cost of postage of the final coaster. You have the option to have the voucher delivered to you or you can send it directly to someone as a gift. If you want to send it directly as a gift I can fill in front of the voucher with your own personalised message so that the recipient knows who got them the voucher!

Each voucher is £25 and this includes the cost of postage of the voucher to you and also the postage of the final coaster. The vouchers are approximately 22cm x 11cm in size. Each voucher also includes a gift envelope (red or white, you can choose the colour) for you to wrap the voucher in.

Each of the three postcards I offer use one of my own original photographs. These photographs are also available to buy as a separate print that doesn't have any text on (see the 'Photography' page). All the postcards have the same standard white postcard back, which is shown on the below photograph. Postcards are a standard postcard size (A6 size, 10.5 x 14.8 cm).
Each of the postcards can be bought separately at £2.50 each or you can buy the set of three different postcards for £6. First class postage is an additional £1, however this £1 postage is the same no matter many postcards you buy. All postcards will be sent in an A5 hard backed envelope.
